Tax invoices in Mexico
A digital tax invoice (CFDI) can be requested for any order within the same calendar month as the purchase.
Required information
- Registered business name or full name.
- Federal taxpayer identification (RFC).
- Tax regime and intended CFDI use.
- Tax address postal code.
- Current tax-status certificate (constancia de situación fiscal).
Deadline
Send the request within the same calendar month as the purchase. The invoice is issued within the next 3 business days.
Corrections
An invoice with incorrect details can be cancelled and reissued within the same month of issue.
