Editorial policy
Asciende’s editorial standard is to preserve material identity, each source’s context and the limits of the conclusion.
Editorial review:
Who publishes and the commercial relationship
Asciende publishes this library and also sells research materials. That relationship matters when reading: an explanation is not an independent evaluation of our catalog. References identify the cited work; they do not imply that its authors endorse the brand.
Separate observation from interpretation
A text should identify whether it concerns an isolated entity, a mixture or a formulation, and preserve the model that produced the result. Questions and reading worksheets are Asciende editorial tools, not new experimental findings. A conclusion is not transferred to another product because part of its name matches.
Identifiable sources and visible gaps
The bibliography preserves links to papers, DOIs, PubMed or institutional documents. Sources should be read with their editorial status and scope. Missing fields are not filled by analogy, including sequences, formulas, CAS numbers, batch results and accreditations.
Correction and review traceability
To report an error, share the URL, the relevant passage and a source that helps check it. A review date concerns site content, not the experiment date or clinical validation. External document results remain attributed to their issuers when we correct our explanation.
Frequently asked questions
Does every paragraph need a citation?
No. Sources may be collected at the end of a section or article, provided their relationship to the content is understandable.
How do I report a broken link?
